Turnstone, born in 1997, left his home band when he was two years old, and has not yet acquired a family band of his own. Unlike many other males his age, he is not a member of an all-male group. Although he is often alone, Turnstone occasionally chums about with various temporary companions, usually older males who were, at one time, family band stallions.
