Yellow-crowned Night-heron (1) - August 23, 1 juvenile at the west ponds.

Little Blue Heron (2) - July 8-25, numerous sightings of 2 adults together in the west ponds area.

Northern Gannet (1) - July 31, 1 juvenile flying west along the south beach.

Double-crested Cormorant (>20) - June 5-6, 1 first year on south beach; June 27, 2 first year the west tip; July 1, a group of 17 adult and first year birds flying southwestwards over the Station; August 5, 1 first year at the west ponds; August 26, 4 first year together on the south side of the west spit.

Green-winged Teal (3) - August 23, 3 at the west ponds.

Black-bellied Plover (>25) - August 3, 15 on the west spit and >10 at Wallace (as usual, far more numerous, but no count attempted).

Killdeer (1) - August 10-27, 1 at the west ponds.

Willet (3) - June 2, 2 on the south beach near East Light; and August 3, 1 on the west spit.

Solitary Sandpiper (3) - August 5, 2 at pool near No3; and August 6, 1 near West Light.

Greater Yellowlegs (>80) - June 6, 1 on south beach near No3; and August 16, >60 at the west ponds, and >20 on the south beach near Wallace.

Lesser Yellowlegs (>30) - August 5, >30 on the south beach near Wallace.

Whimbrel (>14) - June 6, 2 on the south side of the east spit; July 31, 7 on the north beach near No3; and August 26, 5 at pond south of the Station.

Ruddy Turnstone (69) - July 20, 5 on the west spit; August 3, 48 between the west tip and the Station, and 21 on the north beach; and August 31, 35 between the west tip and the Station.

Sanderling (>320) - July 21, >75 in two groups on the south beach near No3; and July >300 on the south beach, and 20 on the north beach.

Short-billed Dowitcher (>50) - July 14, 3 at the west ponds; and August 5, >50 on south beach near Wallace.

Pectoral Sandpiper (6) - August 1, 1 at the west ponds; and August 16, 6 on the south beach near Wallace.

Buff-breasted Sandpiper (1) - August 26, 1 near West Light.

Parasitic Jaeger (1) - June 17, 1 adult on the west spit.

Long-tailed Jaeger (10) - August 10, 10 juveniles on the west tip; and on numerous occasions during August 15-23, groups of 3 to 10 juvenile jaegers sighted on the south beach between the west tip and the Station.

Black-legged Kittiwake (>50) - August 3, 5 adults on the west tip; and August 23, >50 adults on the north side of the west spit.

Sandwich Tern (1) - June 12, 1 adult on the east tip.

Black Tern (2) - August 23 & 31, 2 juveniles between West Light and the Station.

White-winged Dove (1) - June 1-12, 1 west of West Light (first seen May 31).

Eastern Wood-pewee (2) - June 1-12, sightings of 1 bird at various locations between West Light and the Station.

Olive-sided Flycatcher (1) - June 6, 1 near the Station.

Empidonax Flycatcher (1) - August 26, 1 at West Light.

Eastern Kingbird (2) - June 1-2, 2 at the Station; and June 5-12, 1 at the Station.

Purple Martin (5) - during June 2-16, 2 to 5 sighted in the West Light area - all female or first spring male.

Barn Swallow (3) - July 12, 1 at the Station; and August 23, 3 west of West Light.

Northern Wheatear (1) - June 3, 1 west of West Light.

Catbird (2) - June 6 to August 26, 2 in the Station area.

Northern Mockingbird (1) - July 5-7, 1 west of West Light.

Cedar Waxwing (>140) - June 2, >60 near the Station; and August 3, >80 at the Station, mostly adults.

Orange-crowned Warbler (1) - June 4, 1 male at the Station.

Magnolia Warbler (1) - between June 1 and 11, several sightings of 1 male in Station area.

Yellow-rumped Warbler (2) - August 19, 2 males at the Station.

Bay-breasted Warbler (1) - June 5, 1 male at the Station.

Blackpoll Warbler (3) - June 1-4, 1 male and 2 females between West Light and the Station.

Yellow Warbler (2) - June 17, 1 male west of West Light; and August 10, 1 at West Light.

American Redstart (5) - June 1, 1 at the Station; August 18, 1 at West Light; and August 26, 4 in West Light & Station area. (No adult males.)

Northern Waterthrush (1) - June 4, 1 at the Station.

White-throated Sparrow (3) - June 4, 3 between West Light and the Station.

White-crowned Sparrow (1) - July 8, 1 at the Station.

American Goldfinch (1) - June 4-5, 1 male at the Station.
