Three live Caspian Terns Sterna caspia were sighted on Sable Island a few days after Hurricane Wilma. Two seen on October 29th were active, but the third (shown here) was a clearly distressed bird found on the 30th. This bird was unable to fly more than a few meters, and died several hours later. It was banded.
