A banded Rock Dove Columba livia on Sable, March 21 2006. Since 1985, 11 Rock Doves have been sighted on the island. They have turned up during March through August, usually staying on the island for three to ten days. One bird lingered for a month, June 24 to July 26. Six were banded.
