Common Yellowthroat (June 24) outside and resting for a few minutes on a whalebone before flying off to resume foraging for carrion flies. This is an abundant and widespread warbler. The closest breeding area is Nova Scotia, and it winters from southern USA south to Puerto Rico and Costa Rica.
