The black feet of the Magnificent Frigatebird (May 2006). Following Hurricane Wilma in late October 2005, a beached and scavenged frigatebird corpse (with pink feet) was found on the north side of the east spit (archived at the Nova Scotia Museum). There are no other records of this species for Sable Island.
