A juvenile Yellow-crowned Night-heron skulking in an abandoned building, September 11. A vagrant heron engaged in vagrancy. Since 1990 roughly 20 Yellow-crowned Night-herons, the majority juveniles, have been seen on Sable. Except for the one in mid-October, all occurred during July-September.
