An American Kestrel Falco sparverius found grounded and emaciated on the island, September 20 2004. Since 1991 at least 54 individuals have been seen, in all months but August. Of the 54, 20 turned up in September. One or two birds possibly lingered from December through February. The most seen at one time was four adult males, September 26 to October 1.
