Iceland Gull Larus glaucoides, March 22. Since 1991, these gulls have been seen in all months. Every year roughly 100-400 adults and immatures are present on the island during December through April, with one or two immatures seen in some years throughout summer. This species is much more regular and abundant than the Glaucous Gull, and common in Nova Scotia in winter.
