In addition to the group of twelve, several other drums were scattered about the East Light area. One, lodged amongst wooden debris of the collapsed light keeper’s house, also contained enough fuel to be seeping. To prevent further contamination of the surrounding terrain, the old fuel had to be transferred to good drums.
