A full account of the event is provided by text and images on the previous page, however, because the Morning Glory cloud was so splendid, a gallery of additional photographs is provided here. The following series shows views of the cloud as it approached and passed overhead.

The cloud was clearly visible on the eastern horizon long before it actually reached the island. While recording observations on horses, ZL stopped to take this photo, and then, to get a better view, traveled farther east to a position on the high dune in the distance. All other photos of the Morning Glory were taken from that location.
