Common stitchwort (a.k.a. grass-leaved stitchwort, lesser stitchwort) Stellaria graminea (Pink Family - Caryophyllaceae) in late June.  This is a delicate plant with thin fragile stems.  The genus name comes from "stella", Latin for star, and refers to the star-shaped white flowers, and the species name graminea means grasslike.  On Sable Island, this species is in bloom throughout the summer.
