| Goblin | Hobgoblin | Hobbit |
|
When Goblin was young, he had a very clunky `look' which inspired the name. Later when he became a band stallion, a male foal born in his band had similar white markings, so he was called Hobgoblin. In the following year the same mare gave birth to another similarly marked male, and he was named Hobbit. So, Goblin = Hobgoblin = Hobbit... it all makes sense... really... Goblin's group disbanded several years ago. Goblin is now a solitary male, Hobgoblin is with an all-male group, and Hobbit is a band stallion with two mares and a yearling. Although the three males are no longer together, the association of names and appearance bring to mind their `history'. |
