Standing between two mares is a three-month-old male. His identification number is 0225: he was born in year 2002 and he was the 25th newborn found during the foaling season. Thus far this foal is recorded in the field notes merely as "Mira's foal". Good names sometimes don't come to mind until a horse is several years old.
