Many people stayed for the reception, to talk with the presenters and to chat with others interested in Sable Island. Organized by the Green Horse Society and the Ecology Action Centre, and co-hosted by Saint Mary’s University, the World Wildlife Fund, and the Nova Scotian Institute of Science, these annual meetings have become Sable community events.
