On August 2, 2004, a bottle with a unique and most interesting message was found washed ashore on the south side of the east tip of Sable Island. The wine bottle contained several pages: a hand-drawn-&-coloured map of Denmark, an illustration of the Danish flag, and a photo of a boatsman, standing on a catwalk above a maze of pipes.
