Two photos (on the right, a hermit crab in a moon snail shell) from the camera washed ashore on Sable Island. September 2 was the last date for the digital images, so perhaps the camera was lost some time in September – possibly while taking these underwater pictures - which means the camera could have been in the ocean for five or six months before turning up on the island.
