Inside the Air Chemistry Building.  Among the greenhouse gases measured at Sable Island are atmospheric carbon monoxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and sulphur hexafluoride.  An automated sampling module provides continuous analysis of these gases in ambient air, and very small amounts of air are analyzed in each cycle. For precise analysis it is imperative that a flow controller is used to produce constant and exact sample flow rates for all gases.
