On August 1 2003, ZL found a stand of seaside ragwort Senecio pseudo-arnica growing on the north side of the island, in a sandy foredune habitat vegetated by sandwort Honckenya peploides and beach grass Ammophila breviligulata. There were over 45 ragwort plants in the patch, all in flower. The tallest plant was about 70 cm.
