Sable Island cranberries, the biggest and reddest cranberries in Nova Scotia. Susan used the berries to make a steamed pudding – cranberries and chopped pecans, embedded in a warm cake of eggs, sugar, butter and milk, and served with a sauce made of eggnog & rum. Thorough research indeed. Susan shared the pudding with Zoe, and then Zoe went back to Sable – cranberries full circle. |
