During May, the Nova Scotia Museum in Halifax hosted a book launch for Free as the Wind. On the evening of May 9th Susan and Zoe gave an illustrated talk about the process of researching and painting the illustrations, and during the afternoon of the 13th Susan read the book to a small audience in the museum’s Marine Gallery (above).
