| The helicopter refueling facility, located at the Sable Island Station, was constructed by EnCana in September 2003. The state-of-the-art system has a double-walled stainless steel tank with a 10,000 litre capacity. During late 2005 Canadian Coast Guard assumed ownership of the facility, and will develop a usage agreement with other operators. A multi-user approach is beneficial because greater fuel turnover ensures that there is always fresh fuel in the system | |
