A depot of empty drums and gas cylinders, and scrap metal posts and wire fencing awaiting removal from Sable Island. All waste generated by station operations is either incinerated or transported off the island. Recyclables - bottles, cans, paper and cardboard, plastics - are boxed and sent off whenever there is room on an out-going flight.
