Twenty sites
participated in IONS 2006. All 13 USA sites, and four of the seven Canadian
sites, conducted daily launches. At three other Canadian sites the
ozonesonde launches were weekly. Additional land-based sites were in Tecamec,
Mexico, and in Barbados. Data were also collected by the R/V Ronald H.
Brown, NOAA, operating in the Gulf of Mexico, and by NASA aircraft.
