Instrumentation monitoring background levels of CO2: above, the LiCor infrared gas analyser provides continuous measurement of atmospheric CO2, and below, the data logger.  The greenhouse gases program on Sable Island is maintained and operated by the Greenhouse Gases Measurement Laboratory (GGML) in Downsview.  GGML is a branch of the Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC).  Technical and logistical support is provided by the Sable Island Station.
