All measurements collected in the greenhouse gases study are processed on site. Samples are also collected in pressurized glass flasks and sent to MSC's Air Quality Branch in Downsview, Ontario and analyzed for CO2, CH4, CO, N2O, and SF6, as well as for stable isotopes of carbon (13C) and oxygen (18O) in the CO2.
