As well as the more common dark green, glass floats of several other colours have been found on the island: lavender, very pale blue, and lighter or bluish green. Some floats bear words and letters such as "Made in England", "L V" or "F G C". Others are marked with symbols such as the "three crossed fish", the "anchor" or those shown in these rubbings.
