Visitors on an escorted walk through the instrumentation field at the Sable Island Station. Although visitors are not permitted to wander about within the Station compound or to enter any buildings without permission, as time permits, visitors who are particularly interested may be taken on a tour of the Station facilities by the Operations Manager. The Station supports a number of significant long-term research programs, including collection of data pertinent to climate change, and measurements of Earth’s magnetic field.
