Visitors, who arrived on the yacht Odyssey for a day-long visit in August, sit still and quietly watch Gem’s band grazing at the south side of the West Ponds. Horses in the general area between the Station and West Light are somewhat used to the comings and goings of people, and will usually tolerate human presence if no disturbing sounds or movements are made.
