In March 2006, work began at the windfarm to prepare the five towers and to install the turbines (which had been in storage at the Station since delivery by CCG in 2002). The work was conducted by two electricians (O’Malley Electric Ltd, Halifax), two riggers (Shortt’s Lake Tower Services), and Sable Station personnel (OIC Gerry Forbes, Paul Rogers, Mike Maclagan and Jim Tunnicliff).
